September 2017 Wrap Up

September 2017 Wrap Up

My month in review. Let's see how I did!

Books read

In order to meet my Goodreads goal of 100 books, I need to read 8.33 books per month. According to Goodreads, I've read only 4 books this month. Not great, but I'm still on track to meet my yearly goal.

  1. Miracle of Morning Pages by Julia Cameron
  2. Half a Prayer by Rick Gualtieri
  3. Secrets in Death by JD Robb
  4. Journal Sparks by Emily Neuburger

September Reviews

Blog Goals

Still working on updating my old blog posts with the corrupted Photobucket pictures. It's slow going and I sometimes skip several days. Decided on PicMonkey as a replacement as I just wasn't comfortable with Canva. PicMonkey is a little more user friendly for me so I signed up for a one year subscription.

Around the Blogosphere

Came across a great post on DIY bookmarks titled 25 Different Ways to Create Your Own Bookmarks. I love the quote bookmarks, but really want to try my hand at the tea cup bookmarks. I'm not very crafty, so wish me luck!

Bookriot had an interesting post about Cool Bookish Ideas for Your Bullet Journal. Love the bookshelf spread!

Signed up for the October Blog Ahead Challenge hosted by Anna over at Herding Cats and Burning Soup. Noticed while I've been updating my old posts that I've been in a blogging rut for years. I still love to read, just missing my review mojo. I seem to be an eternal optimist though so fingers crossed that the Blog Ahead will help get my mojo back!

Another meh month. I've been having a lot of those lately. :(

  1. Good luck with your bookmarks! Happy October!

  2. Sometimes I think about going through back posts and fixing lost pictures but then I get overwhelmed and give up. Sigh!

  3. It's sad that picmonkey isn't free anymore, but I do understand. Ugh... on the photobucket issue. So bad.

Can't wait to see your crafty bookmarks!

  4. Sorry it felt like a mhh month. You are still trucking along. Hope you have a good month here in October.
