TTBA's Bookish Secret Santa 2017

My friend Michelle over at The True Book Addict hosted a Bookish Secret Santa Exchange on Facebook. I love swapping with my fellow book lovers, so was very happy that Michelle decided to host again this year!

This past holiday was a comedy of errors from beginning to end, including this swap! I get so many emails that I sort the ones I want to keep into folders for easy access. So when I was ready to go shopping for my Secret Santa, I went to my swap folder to take notes on what to buy. So I took notes. Bought gifts. Wrapped them up and shipped them off. Sent Michelle the tracking number and all was well...until it wasn't.

Received a very polite, diplomatic note from Michelle after Christmas letting me know that my Secret Santa had not received anything. Doofus Me had pulled last year's Secret Santa email by mistake! Major duh!

Michelle is a much nicer person than I am and didn't point out my doofus-ness. I felt so bad that my Santee hadn't received anything for Christmas that I hit Amazon as soon as I got Michelle's email! My face is still red! Major oops!

But alls well that ends well and she seemed to like her delayed gifts. Sorry again, Bev!

My Secret Santa was not a doofus and I received my package well before Christmas!

Secret Santa Goodies
Opened the box before Christmas, but was good and waited to unpack everything until Christmas morning!

pretty!
Such a pretty card!

The goodies!
The goodies!

these owls are too cute!
I love owls and collect bookmarks, so these magnetic owl page clips are perfect! And how cute is that stuffed owl? He's hanging from my desk now to keep me company.

my favorite!!!
One of my favorite candies! Needless to say, these didn't last long!

A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab
Excited to read this one! I had asked for something that my Secret Santa had read and loved, so have high hopes! The synopsis sounds awesome!

Thank you so much Angie! You were an awesome Secret Santa!
And thanks again to Michelle for hosting! Already looking forward to next year!
