Bloggiesta Finish Line - Spring 2016

Another Bloggiesta has come and gone. That was fast! I had a pretty ambitious list of goals, then totally dropped the ball. Didn't make it to a single Twitter chat. Didn't visit all of the other participants as planned. Didn't complete my goals. Did better than I did on the mini Bloggiesta, but thinking it might be time to step back and re-evaluate the old blog.

It's time for Spring Bloggiesta!

Spring Bloggiesta - March 21-27
It's time for the Spring Bloggiesta again! This week-long event will be March 21-27th, and I want to make a good dent in my list this time round!

What is Bloggiesta?

In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta! (website)

My Journals: Handmade leather wonder

the jewel of my collection!

Blank journals are another weakness of mine. Even though I have an entire cabinet full of journals, I can't seem to stop collecting them! Not sure what I'm going to do with them all, but I can't seem to make it out of a bookstore with at least one.

My Journals: Handmade leather wonder
This is the nicest journal I own!

Bookmark Monday: Not All Who Wander

Bookmark Monday

Since I collect bookmarks, thought it would be fun to join the Guiltless Reader for her Bookmark Monday posts!

I've always loved the Not all those who wander may be lost Tolkien quote, so knew that I had to buy this bookmark as soon as I saw it!

Bookmark Monday: Not All Who Wander
While it's not the exact quote, it's certainly inspired by Tolkien!

Bookmark Monday: Not All Who Wander quote
Not all who wander are lost

Bookmark Monday: Not All Who Wander design
Love the design at the bottom of the bookmark!

I have a compass with the actual quote, but this is a little easier to carry around!

Do you have any favorite quotes? Would love to hear them!

My Book Haul 3/5/2016

Cold Between, Well Path, Little Is Left To Tell, Orchids and Stone, Diary of Anna the Girl Witch

In need of a new way to showcase titles, I decided that My Book Haul seems like a good fit. I like giving books a little special attention as sometimes it can be awhile before I'm able to review them. Sad to say, but some get put on the shelf and gather a little dust before I'm able to give them the love they deserve. I've included links to Goodreads if you want more information.

For Review:

This was a surprise in my mailbox. I love book surprises!

Cold Between by Elizabeth Bonesteel
